FEATURED PROJECT: new town apartment EDINBURGH.

The brief for this project was to refit a newly purchased 3-bedroom apartment in Edinburgh’s New Town.  This included the strip out and refurbishment of all the bedrooms, 2 ensuites, bathroom, kitchen, living and dining rooms.  All the fitted and loose furniture were to be supplied as part of the project.  The client also requested our help in supplying and sourcing much of the artwork for the property.

The brief dictated that, as a high-end holiday rental, the property should have some very specific features.  These included a concealed cocktail bar in the dining room and commercial grade kitchen for visiting chefs.  A perfectly tuned high end audio system had to be integrated throughout the whole apartment.  The lounge had to have a home cinema that completely disappeared whilst not in use. 

There was an expectation from the client that all the new ‘interventions’ should never detract from the elegance of the Georgian apartment whilst providing the luxury expected from the property.
