A pair of vintage French Jumo desk lamps with green/ grey enamelled metal shades, steel bodies and articulated arms. Adjustable at the base, arm and shade, they provide directional light for a desk, reading area or workspace.
The lamps retain their original paint finish, with wear and patina reflecting their working history. Sold as a pair.
Condition and alterations
The lamps have been lightly cleaned and rewired, including earthing, and both are PAT tested. Concealed, handmade timber extensions have been fitted beneath the bases for safety.
Replacement components include one shade cap, the switches on both bases and the lamp holders. These alterations have been made to be reversible, allowing for further restoration in the future.
