An authentic South Chinese export blue-and-white porcelain dish recovered from the legendary Tek Sing ("True Star") cargo, which sank in the Gaspar Strait in 1822. Painted in underglaze cobalt with a stylized central floral motif and concentric framing bands, the dish exhibits a characteristic matte patina from nearly two centuries of ocean submersion. Crucially, this piece retains its original Nagel Auctions salvage provenance labels (Lot #13435) on the base, making it a fully documented historical artifact. In superb structural condition.
